The Campus At Marlboro Music offers a variety of housing options at a different price points. We’ll describe these below as falling into two broad categories:
- Standard Housing
- Premium Housing
Standard Housing
Most of the housing on campus falls into this “Standard” category. Click on any dorm’s name below for some photos and brief description. Standard housing is offered in the following dorms:
- All The Way
- Halfway
- Hendricks
- New Residence
- Schrader
- Random North (back-up housing, if needed)
- Random South (back-up housing, if needed)
Standard Housing Cost
Private Room for 5 nights $320
Shared Room for 5 nights $170
Premium Housing
Premium Housing differs from Standard in these ways:
- There are generally fewer people in the building overall, fewer sharing a bathroom and, in most cases, a little distance from the center of campus.
- In contrast to Standard dorm housing, you must request a specific Premium housing option. They are offered on a first-come-first-served basis.
- Unlike Standard Housing, the cost varies among the Premium options.
- The Cottages and Capes will only be available to us if the entire building is paid for, so they lend themselves well to small groups of campers who’d like to share a space.
The Premium Housing options are:
- “Out Of The Way”
- Cottages
- Capes
“Out Of The Way” Suites.

“Out Of The Way” is made up of 5 suites. Although they are described as “one bedroom apartments” on the linked info sheet, there are in fact two bedrooms in each suite, either of which can serve as a single room or double. Each suite has its own bathroom and kitchenette.
If you would like to share a suite in this dorm with someone, please provide their name at the time of registration. For shared rooms, both parties must request to room together. We will not make random assignments of roomates.

Cottages

Each “cottage” has 4 single rooms with a shared bathroom, kitchen and common area. Perfect for a group of four who want to house together. Unlike the Capes (below) these are rustic in look and feel, similar to the dorms. They are in a wooded area about a 15 minute walk or 2 minute drive from the campus center.
Cottage Cost
Cost of an entire 4-room cottage for 5 nights, $1500.
Private room for 5 nights, $375 (No doubles.)
Partial rental of cottages by Choro Camp is not an option, so group rental of the entire cottage by 4 people is strongly encouraged. If fewer people want to share a cottage, the rooms will be priced to cover the full $1500 cost of the cottage.
Capes

The Capes are on a 15-acre site adjacent to the campus — a 10 minute walk or 2 minute drive to campus center. Their award-winning design was inspired by a Cape Cod cottage, hence their collective name, “Cape Cottages.” These offer the most upscale housing on the campus, with high ceilings, a kitchen, large windows and comfortable, stylish furnishings in the common area.
Please Note: Choro Camp has been offered the opportunity to use two of Marlboro’s 5 Capes in 2026, but only if they are fully rented by April 15th. So if they look like the best housing option for you, please let us know immediately. See detailed pricing below.
Cape 1
Availability: ALREADY FULLY RESERVED
This Cape has 4 bedrooms, each of which has a queen-sized bed and an ensuite bathroom — that is to say, a bathroom of its own. The spacious, light-filled kitchen and common area is shared. See the photos (link above) for a better view of this lovely housing option.
Cost of Cape 1
This entire 4-bedroom, 4-bath Cape can be rented for $4800 for 5 nights
Private room with its own bathroom for 5 nights: $1200.
Shared room with its own bathroom: $600 per person
Partial rental of Capes by Choro Camp is not an option, so rental of the entire building by an individual or group is necessary. If fewer than 4 rooms are rented, they will be priced to cover the full $4800 cost of the Cape.
Cape 5
Availability: ALREADY FULLY RESERVED
In addition to the shared kitchen and common area, this Cape has 3 bedrooms:
- A master bedroom with a queen sized bed and its own bathroom.
- Two more rooms, each of which has two twin beds. These two rooms share a bathroom.
Cost of Cape 5
Rent the entire 3 bedroom Cape for 5 nights, $2500.
Master bedroom with ensuite bathroom in Cape 5:
Private, 5 nights: $1200
Shared, 5 nights: $600 per person
The two other rooms that share one bathroom in Cape 5:
Private room: $650.
Shared room: $325 per person
