From the video description:
"This is a short introductory class on the origins and development of Choro, from the early Lundus and Polkas, to the Golden Age of Pixinguinha and Jacob do Bandolim. All the most important names in the Choro history will be mentioned here, together with suggested discography and playlists."
This is an awesome video! Very didactic and with great examples!
His YouTube channel is also really cool. There is so much good stuff there about Brazilian music in general (not only choro).
One of his videos about Maracatu, Ijexá, and Boi-Bumbá is fantastic (despite the technical problems). For those who don't know much about Afro-Brazilian rhythms, it is a lot of information.
(Maracatu is such a strong rhythm - I love it!)
I was reminded of this video by yours on Lundu, Luiz! Henrique is brilliant and not far away. (Currently, NYC) I hope he can join us someday at Choro Camp!
