In case this may be helpful to other cavaquinho newbies, I’ve attached a cavaquinho version of a transcription sheet I use for fretted string instruments to keep track of song info and chord grips, especially when I'm new to the instrument.  I also use it to capture arrangement ideas quickly.

In my cavaquinho newbie explorations, using it now to cross reference grips from the Ernesto Nazareth 1 & 2 sheets into the newby arrangements provided by Andrew for alternatives where some notes in the provided simpler grips may clash with the harmony or melody.

Also using to unpack for cavaquinho other Choro tunes from the Almir Chediak Choro books that have the chords/harmony info.
