Hello, everyone! I'm Cibele Palopoli 🙂

I'm a flutist from Santos (São Paulo, Brazil). I'm specialized in Brazilian music, particularly in playing Choro, forming part of the Clube de Choro de Santos, USP Choro group, Ôctôctô, and Trio Xaxará.

I received my Ph.D. degree in 2018, my Master's degree in 2013, and my Bachelor of Music (Flute) degree in 2010, all of them from the University of São Paulo and supported by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP). 

I love playing traditional Choro, but also dealing with alive composers. In 2022, I was the curator of a webseries about Choro in Santos and other villages around. I am glad to share one of our videos:
