For what was intended to be Year 2 of Choro Camp New England, we asked Brian Rice to do 5 videos, each of them introducing a different rhythm on pandeiro. The pandemic forced us to cancel Choro Camp that year, but not before Brian provided these videos, for which we are most grateful. He covers polca, choro, samba-choro, maxix and baião.

Brian did an excellent job explaining the basics of the instrument. One of the best I have seen. A must see for any beginner student.
