I suggest we make a point to communicate in English on this forum, for two reasons:
(1) Choro is a Brazilian musical tradition. We are not trying to establish the only, biggest or best choro-related forum in the world here. If THAT forum is going to exist, it will be based in Brazil, led by Brazilians, and in Portuguese.
(2) THIS forum is based in North America, and its primary objective is to promote the appreciation and practice of choro by those of us who live outside of Brazil. There's a ton of choro-related material available for Portuguese speakers online. Let's make this space easily accessible and welcoming to non-Portuguese speakers by engaging in English. For those who really want (or need) to use Portuguese for some reason, please do so in the area we have designated for "Bate-papo em português".
