You'll find two varieties of repertoire here:
- Core Repertoire for this year's Choro Camp New England.
- Supplementary Repertoire, which is a growing collection of tunes drawn from previous years' Core Repertoire.
You'll find lists of these tunes, along with charts, reference videos and links to video accompaniments on the Repertoire page of the Choro Camp website.
You are welcome -- indeed, invited -- to use this area of the forum in any way you wish so long as it is related to these two choro collections. You may want to:
- Post links to other reference recordings or play-along tracks.
- Share some history of the tune or its composer.
- Ask a question.
- Post a video of yourself working on, or simply playing the tune.
PLEASE USE TAGS. You'll fine space for that below the box you type your post in. At a minimum, include the name of the tune as a tag for your post. That way, others can do a quick search for all posts related to a particular tune.
I hope this area of the forum helps you build shared repertoire with others, whether you meet at Choro Camp, at another event or in your home town.

Roughly when will the 2025 repertoire be posted?
Thx.....Tom Stewart
I've been in enough rodas where folks start playing and I don't have a clue what to do. I don't recognize the song or if I do I can't find the chart. I don't speak Portuguese and I often don't recognize the pronunciation and I am too embarrassed to call a tune because of my pronunciation. And I know a number of people at my level who have the same problem.
So I put this workbook together of all the Choro Camp tunes from 2019-2025 in alphabetical order with the original Portuguese name, the English translation and English phonetic translation of the Portuguese title so when I pronounce the title others can understand what I'm saying. A friend said , why dont you just learn some basic Portuguese. I tried that but at my ripe old I dont remember what I ate for breakfast much less a lot of new words.
