Charts for Special Topics Classes
Please Note: Since these charts are being prepared for singers as well as instrumentalists, we may need to change keys to accommodate different singers’ voices. Nevertheless, getting familiar with the songs before camp will make it much easier to participate fully.
For each set of tunes, we’re providing two types of charts:
- A sheet with the song’s chords and lyrics only. (What Brazilians call a “cifra”) These will suffice for many vocalists and accompanists.
- Fully notated transcriptions of the melody, in three transpositions, for melodic instrumentalists. (Brazilians call this a “partitura”.)
